GROW YOUR OWN CUT FLOWERS WORKSHOP £99.00
This workshop is designed for people who have some gardening and growing experience but feel they need to hone their skills to provide a better and wider range of useable plant material to help them create beautiful and distinctive, floral arrangements from mid March to mid October.
Jane has a truly extensive plant knowledge having run a specialist perennial nursery for nearly 10 years where all the plants were propagated in house; created two of her own gardens from scratch; prepared the cut flower growing areas here at Edmonds & Howard and also created some superb gardens as a professional garden designer since late 2003, ranging from those for smart town houses to large estates with acreage.
The day will comprise:
Jane taking you through her month by month guide of what you should be doing
Sharing with you growing tips and techniques that she uses for success
Providing you with a number of plant choices that you may not previously have considered
Supplying you with back up notes and schedules to help you plan satisfying and distinctive flower arrangements
The days run from 10-4pm and are limited to 6 attendees. Homemade lunch will be served along with refreshments.

BOUQET MAKING WORKSHOPS

BOUQUET MAKING WORKSHOP £99.00
This workshop is designed for people who would like to provide more than just a bunch of flowers. Learn to tie a superb bouquet of distinctive and varied British flowers and gain some very valuable growing and selecting tips.
Jane has a truly extensive plant knowledge having run a specialist perennial nursery for nearly 10 years where all the plants were propagated in house; created two of her own gardens from scratch; prepared the cut flower growing areas here at Edmonds & Howard and also created some superb gardens as a professional garden designer since late 2003, ranging from those for smart town houses to large estates with acreage. She also has a background in textiles and costume which has provided her with a keen eye for colour and texture.
The day will comprise:
Jane demonstrating the making of a hand tie, showing how she chooses her material to sit well together in a bouquet.
Sharing with you how she conditions various material and at what stage she picks for both events and sending bouquets by post
Make your own bouquets in turn with guidance from Jane, using a fabulous selection of floral material all grown here, cut, conditioned and ready for use.
A tour of the garden and growing areas will be provided with growing tips and advice on how Jane selects both harmonising and contrasting material for her sumptuous arrangements.
Schedules and back up notes will be provided to help you plan satisfying flower combinations for your own arrangements.
